Dorado is a tripod floor lamp fabricated from bent aluminum, Sapele wood, and corrugated polypropylene. I wanted to generate a piece of lightweight furniture that could easily break down into its component parts for transport or recycling. This project allowed me to experiment with how illumination transforms the experience of form and material.
